Thread Lift Treatments

There are two main types:

Advanced Lifting Threads (performed by Dr Jadoon)
PDO Skin Rejuvenation Threads (performed by our Registered Nurses)

As the name suggests, the lifting threads are used to lift the sagging facial features or to prevent them from sagging.

The revitalising threads are primarily used for collagen stimulation to rejuvenate ageing skin.

Welcome To Medaesthetics

Welcome to Medaesthetics, Perth’s Award-winning, Boutique Cosmetic Clinics since 2013.

At Medaesthetics, we offer the entire spectrum of cosmetic and anti-ageing treatments including cosmetic injectables, dermatological lasers, skin tightening, fat reduction, and cellulite treatments.

Thread Lift has been a popular cosmetic procedure over the recent years. However, a significant number of patients do not achieve the desired outcomes with the basic threads lifting techniques currently available.

Dr Jadoon has developed and refined Advanced Thread Lift technique which delivers almost surgery-like results to carefully selected patients.

As we age, the effects of sun damage and gravity on our skin become more noticeable. In the face, the collagen production slows down, facial fat pads start to disappear and bone remodelling occurs. This results in facial sagging, loose skin and appearance of wrinkles & folds.

Advanced Thread Lift in an excellent non-surgical treatment to lift facial sagging to help restore youthful facial contours.

“At Medaesthetics, we have been performing various types of Thread Lift procedures in Perth since 2010 and are one of the most experienced clinics in Thread Lift in WA”.

Dr Ehsan Jadoon

What Is A Thread Lift?

A thread lift involves the insertion of fine threads, usually made of polypropylene or similar material, into the skin to lift and tighten sagging tissue. The threads are anchored at different points under the skin, and the excess material is trimmed off.

As the skin heals, the threads provide support to the tissue, giving it a lifted, more youthful appearance. Thread lifts can be used to treat a variety of areas, including the mid-face, neck, and jawline, to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin.

The procedure typically takes between 30 minutes and an hour to complete and can be performed using local anaesthesia. The results of a thread lift can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the individual’s skin and the type of thread used.

It is important to note that thread lifts are a medical procedure that should be performed by a licensed healthcare professional with experience in the administration of this treatment. As with any medical procedure, there may be risks and complications involved, and it is important to discuss these with your provider before undergoing the treatment.

General Information

What is Advanced Thread Lift?

Dr Jadoon has been performing cosmetic surgical procedures such as surgical face lift, surgical neck lift, lip-lift, facial fat grafting and eyelid surgery for more than a decade.

Utilising his surgical knowledge and skills, Dr Jadoon has developed a special technique of Thread Lifting which delivers far superior and visibly noticeable clinical results than any traditional form of thread lift.

The procedure is performed in the chair under local anaesthesia. Hospitalisation is not needed.

Our Advanced Thread Lift technique is an excellent non-surgical alternative to Mini Face Lift in carefully selected patients.

Key Facial Areas Improved by Thread Lift:

• Generalised facial sagging
• Nasolabial folds
• Lower face sagging & neck sagging
• Jawline sharpening
• Deep collagen production for skin rejuvenation

Treatment Limitations:

Patients experiencing facial volume loss (Hollowing) and those in their late forties and beyond, may require other treatment options (to be combined with Threads) or surgery to address their concerns.

The Pain Factor:

With each treatment, special attention is paid to minimise any treatment discomfort.

This is achieved by applying specially formulated, ultra-high strength numbing creams, and cool air, along with using Inhalation Anaesthesia Gas (Laughing Gas).

“After more than a decade of doing Thread Lifts, our experience has shown us that not every patient who requests Thread Lift is a suitable candidate. Careful patient selection is the key to a clinically successful outcome.

Dr Ehsan Jadoon

All cosmetic treatments carry potential risks, complications and limitations. Please make sure you are fully aware of these before undergoing any treatment. If you are not sure about these risks, or may be unable to cope with them if you happen to experience any, then it’s best you do not under go any such treatment.

How To Choose Your Treatment Provider

We understand that the decision to undergo a cosmetic treatment can be a significant one for some individuals. It is of utmost importance to choose a clinician who not only possesses the necessary clinical skills but also takes the time to listen to your concerns and understand your goals.

When considering a cosmetic treatment, it is recommended to thoroughly research potential providers to ensure that you are making an informed decision. It is crucial to not base your choice solely on cost, as the adage “you get what you pay for” often holds true in the medical field.

It is my belief that a successful cosmetic treatment should not only deliver effective results but should also be performed in a manner that is minimally discomforting with minimal downtime. When searching for a provider, keep these factors in mind to help you make an informed decision.

Why Choose Medaesthetics?

“Art, indeed, consists in the conception of the result to be produced before its realisation in the material.” – Aristotle

The practice of aesthetic medicine and surgery is as much an art as it is a science. The aesthetic sense of a clinician in evaluating a patient is as important as his or her clinical skills.

Any dermal clinician can perform basic skin treatments with some training. However, the results achieved may not match patient expectations or worse, deliver untoward side effects.

At Medaesthetics, our team of experienced doctors, nurses, and dermal therapists work together to deliver safe and successful clinical outcomes.

We pride ourselves, to be honest, and ethical providers of cosmetic medical treatments.
