Dermal Fillers For Chin & Jawline

Facial contouring using dermal fillers is one of our most popular treatments in Perth with many people are opting to have a more balanced facial profile.

A well-defined chin and jawline are perceived as youthful and aesthetically pleasing in Western culture. Anyone lacking these attributes is now able to have these areas augmented non-surgically using dermal fillers. Before the advent of dermal fillers, this was only possible with surgery.

The treatment involves injecting 1 to 4 mL of dermal filler gel into key areas in the chin and jawline using a gentle cannula technique. Patients can opt just to have the chin, or the jawline treated. Treatments can be tailored made to suit patients’ clinical requirements and budgets.

Important

Dermal fillers are effective, relatively affordable and offer little to no downtime. There are, however, some side effects associated with poorly performed procedures. It is, therefore, vital that you choose your treatment provider based upon their experience and reputation and not just on marketing hype or discount pricing.

How To Choose Your Treatment Provider

The decision to undergo any cosmetic treatment can be quite daunting for some people. It can be tough to find the right clinician who you can trust.

People want to choose a clinician who can listen to them carefully and understand their concerns. Someone whose clinical skills deliver effective and hassle-free results with minimal discomfort or downtime.

We recommend that people should do their due diligence before choosing their treatment provider and not base their decision solely on the cheapest pricing in town. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

At Medaestheics, our prime emphesis is on delivering natural looking results when it comes to any cosmetic treatment. Most of our clients want to look fresh and youthful and not fake and overdone.

We do however, also look after clients wanting more noticeable and glamourous results.

Are dermal fillers effective?

Dermal fillers are made up of different substances. The most common fillers used at Medaestthetics are made up of a Carbohydrate Gel. The efficacy profile of these fillers is clinically well established when used by an experienced doctor or Nurse who knows the facial anatomy well.

Allergic reactions and significant vascular trauma are very infrequent. Minor, temporary side effects include temporary swelling and bruising at the site of injection.

Do I need to take time off work after this treatment?

Generally, there is minimal downtime, and most people can return to their normal activities straight after the treatment. Any downtime is usually due to swelling or bruising, which can be easily camouflaged by makeup in most cases. Fillers in the lips tend to cause more swelling in older patients and may last for up to seventy-two hours in some cases, before settling nicely.

How much does it cost?

This depends upon the amount of filler used and time associated with the treatment. Up-to five mls or more of dermal fillers can be used to achieve the desired results. Treatment may cost anywhere between $600 to $3500.

Our experienced clinical team will be able to advise you the amount of filler required to achieve noticeable but natural-looking results at the time of your consultation.
